Emergency plumbing
Emergency Plumber — Burst Pipes, Major Leaks & Sewer Backups
A burst pipe, a major leak, a sewer backup or no water at all — call now, and tell us whether water is still running. Emergency plumbing is triaged by danger and by damage in progress, not by who called first.

What to tell us when you call
- Your county and town, and the problem in plain words.
- Whether water is still running, sewage is involved, or a gas smell is present — say so first.
- Where the problem is, and anything you have already tried.
About this service
Emergency calls are different from planned work: the first job is to stop the damage. Shut the water off if you can reach the shut-off safely, stop using drains in a backup, keep people away from sewage, and call. Do not wade into standing water near electrics, and do not use chemical drain cleaners in a backed-up main line.
Gas smell? Leave the house first. Leave the building and call your gas utility first from a safe place. A gas smell is not a routine emergency-plumbing lead.
Frequently asked questions
- What counts as a plumbing emergency?
- A burst pipe, a major leak you cannot stop, a sewer backup, no water, or a leaking water heater — water damage in progress, or a health risk from sewage.
- What should I do before the plumber arrives?
- Shut the water off if you can do so safely, move valuables out of the water, stop using drains in a backup, and take a photo from a safe place if you can.
- Do you give emergency prices on this site?
- No. Emergency work depends on the problem, access and parts, and must be assessed on site by the assigned contractor.
